Who are the Amateur Archery Centre ?

We are only a small Club but with big ideas.
So if you were intrigued with what you saw at the Olympics and you want to have a go, then please contact the Club and we will book you in.

It’s great fun and good exercise.

Our member’s are aged from 8 years up to “the over 60s”.

When do we meet ?
>>> We shoot every Saturday.
Learners
from 9 am - 10 am
Members from 10:30 am onwards
Mid Janurary to Mid December.

Where is the Amateur Archery Centre ?
>>> Duncraig Senior High School,
Readshaw Road, Duncraig, WA

What else do I need to know ?
>>> Shooting times: Learners are welcome and shoot under supervision from 9 am to 10 am.
(AAC/AA/ASWA members can shoot under supervision from 10:30 am onwards).

Coaching and staff: Harry Hickson is head coach with support from Jim Flood Roy Hickson, and Richard Mulliner qualified Archery Australia instructors, all with "Working with Children" clearances.

Learners: We teach the young (8 years minimum age) and "old," how to handle a bow and arrow safely and correctly under the supervision of head coach Harry Hickson. Both ladies and gentlemen welcome. The learning period is a “12 visit course over 6 months" with emphasis on safety. During this time all equipment is supplied.

Equipment: Club has a fully equipped boxed trailer complete with bow and arrow sets, target faces, butts, stands plus a small tool kit with spare parts etc. Left-handers accommodated.
There is also a clout target.

Visitors: AA/ASWA Members from other Clubs are most welcome. Please contact club to book in.

Financial year: 1st March to 28/29th February.

Membership fees 2009 / 2010: Club membership is $20 for a full year (March to February).
AA/ASWA fees are extra to the Club fees (price on application).

Club Uniform: Dark green sports shirt with khaki shorts, trousers or skirt.
